"Love everything here . The crab porridge is great and so sweet . Buy I guess it’s a little peppery but still take nice and yummy . The salmon are so fresh but it’s a little too thick cut but taste is still good . Service is good and fast serving . Love the atmosphere here but parking is hard here on weekdays or even weekends . "Mokuren is currently my favorite Japanese restaurant in Ipoh. The owner is very meticulous about the ingredients and cooking methods. The sashimi is extremely fresh. The owner often prepares special dishes for customers, which are not available in ordinary Japanese restaurants in Ipoh. Having traveled to Japan many times, I find the Japanese cuisine prepared by the owner comparable to the local delicacies in Japan. Whenever I miss Japanese food, I visit Mokuren."
